Guardiola Flags Concerns Over John Stones
After all the joy Manchester City had after their comeback on December 27th during their visit to Everton, reality hit hard. Stones got injured in the first half, and things aren't looking great for the English defender.
"We hope the injury isn't serious and that he can make a quick return," mentioned the Spanish coach regarding Stones' potential comeback, without providing any specific date or estimated recovery time for the City center-back.
Speaking about the team, Guardiola stated, "December was intense. January has fewer games, but I still believe the team is performing really well. There are mentalities that remain, ones we need to handle in both good and tough times."
Amid a string of injuries, another key player for City, John Stones, has suffered an injury, and it seems he'll be out for a minimum of 2 weeks. The City will aim to bounce back and climb up the table after their win against Everton.
