David Beckham Was Not Present at the White House During Donald Trump’s Award Ceremony for Inter Miami
The most emblematic owner of the Miami club was not present during the award ceremony held at the White House after winning the MLS
Presentation at the White House and Beckham's absence
Inter Miami visited the White House for a historic celebratory visit after winning the MLS Cup last year; however, the club's owner and one of its most notable figures were not present at the venue. David Beckham did not appear during the broadcast of the event and was also not present at the White House during it. The English football legend, who is now one of the owners of Inter Miami, had a scheduling conflict with the award ceremony and Donald Trump's event, so he decided to stay in Europe for another commitment.
The reason for the absence
David Beckham had the responsibility of leading his club's delegation of players at the White House; however, he couldn't travel and decided to stay on the Old Continent. The reason why the retired star couldn't attend the award ceremony has to do with his family, more specifically, with his wife, Victoria Beckham stayed in Europe because his wife had a fashion show in which her brand was important, so he decided to stay and let the other board members attend Trump's award ceremony.

Inter Miami and Beckham
After being one of the last teams to arrive in the MLS, Inter Miami has established itself with Beckham's arrival as one of the most prominent teams in the United States and has secured the arrival of various world football idols, not to mention Messi, Busquets, Jordi Alba, or Luis Suárez, and today they are the reigning champions of Major League Soccer.
