The 2024 All-Star Game Will Future MLS Stars Against those from Liga MX
The 2024 MLS All-Star game will feature a team of stars from the American league against a combined team of the best players from Liga MX, as reported by Major League Soccer on Monday.
The 2024 All-Star game, which could potentially be the first for Argentine Lionel Messi since his arrival in the United States, will take place on July 24th in Columbus, Ohio.
"We are excited to host Liga MX in the 2024 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, showcasing the global stars and rising talents from our leagues, and the strength of our sport in North America," said Camilo Durana, Executive Vice President of Properties and Events for MLS.
"It is a privilege to participate in the 2024 MLS All-Star Game for the third time. Liga MX will bring together its best players to form a competitive team. This will be another chapter in this sports rivalry, allowing us to continue building a great partnership with MLS," commented Mikel Arriola, President of Liga MX.
