Olivier Giroud Confirms his Move to MLS
"I'm here to announce that my next two games will be my last with Milan. I will continue my career, but in the MLS. I'm very proud of everything I've done for Milan in these three years, and it's the right time to say it. I'm a little emotional, but my story with Milan ends this year, although it will remain in my heart forever," he announced in a video posted on social media.
Giroud arrived in the 2021-22 season and became a reinforcement who ended up winning the affection of the Milan fans, surpassing all expectations placed on his game.
A key player in the 'Scudetto' of that same season, an undisputed starter throughout, he leaves with a record of 130 matches, 48 goals, and 19 assists.
