Lassine Sinayoko Silences the Vélodrome and Leads Paris FC to Victory

  • Paris FC secured a spectacular away victory with a 3-2 win over Olympique de Marseille at the Orange Vélodrome on Matchday 3 of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 McDonald’s, on a night that belonged to Lassine Sinayoko.

Sinayoko Scores a Hat-Trick in Marseille

The Malian striker scored all three goals for the capital club and began his remarkable performance almost immediately after kickoff. Sinayoko opened the scoring just 23 seconds into the match following a brilliant move from Luca Koleosho, stunning the Marseille defense.

Marseille quickly responded through Amine Gouiri, but Sinayoko struck again to restore Paris FC’s advantage before eventually completing a spectacular hat-trick that proved decisive in the visitors’ 3-2 victory.

The performance confirms the striker’s extraordinary start to the season after he had already scored in the 3-0 victory over OGC Nice on the previous matchday. The Parisian club signed Sinayoko this summer following his spell with Auxerre, where he also finished last season in excellent goalscoring form.

What’s Next for Marseille and Paris FC?

After this painful home defeat, Marseille will have little time to recover. Its next match will be away against Stade Rennais on Friday, September 11, on Matchday 4 of Ligue 1.

Paris FC, meanwhile, will return to the Stade Jean Bouin with confidence sky-high. The capital club will host Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday, September 12, at 8:45 p.m. local time in France before playing at home again against Strasbourg on September 19.
