Former PSG Center-Back Signs With AS Monaco
The German center-back/right-back, who's just 27 and has moved through various leagues and teams, has quite the track record in Europe's top leagues. Now, he's making a comeback to Ligue 1 with AS Monaco on loan to beef up the team currently sitting third in the league.
This young German spent over three seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, playing 128 official matches. Despite being a central defender for PSG, he managed to net four goals and provide two assists, facing off against his current club, AS Monaco.
Talking numbers, the German is set to join on loan till the end of the Ligue 1 season. There's a buyout option floating around €11 million, as per journalist Fabrizio Romano's tweet. This buyout would kick in automatically if the player meets certain performance criteria.
