The new signing completed his first training session on Friday, but José Mourinho did not include him in the squad for Saturday's preseason match against Ferencváros in Hungary.

Diomande completes his first Real Madrid training session

After his transfer from RB Leipzig became official, Diomande arrived in Madrid and underwent his medical examination at Hospital Blua Sanitas Valdebebas.

He later took part in his first session at Real Madrid City, training individually.

His workout included gym exercises, running drills and ball work as he begins adapting to his new club.

Why won't he play against Ferencváros?

While Diomande trained individually, the rest of the squad completed tactical drills, passing exercises, set-piece work and small-sided games before traveling to Budapest.

As a recent arrival, the Ivorian striker was not included in Mourinho's traveling squad and will have to wait for another opportunity to make his first appearance for Real Madrid.
