Vinicius Jr. will remain a Real Madrid player after the club officially announced that the Brazilian forward has signed a contract extension through June 30, 2032, bringing an end to speculation about his future.
Keeping Vinicius was one of Real Madrid's top priorities, with his previous deal set to expire in June 2027.
Vinicius commits his future to Real Madrid
Real Madrid confirmed the agreement in an official statement, describing the Brazilian as one of the key players in one of the most successful periods in the club's history.
"Vinicius Jr. arrived at Real Madrid in July 2018 at the age of 18. During his eight seasons with our club, he has played 375 matches, scored 128 goals and won 14 titles," the statement read.
His trophy haul includes two UEFA Champions League titles, three FIFA Club World Cups, three LaLiga titles, one Copa del Rey, two UEFA Super Cups and three Spanish Super Cups.
Real Madrid highlights Vinicius' achievements
The club also highlighted Vinicius' goals in the 2022 and 2024 Champions League finals, as well as his The Best FIFA Men's Player 2024 award, his place in the FIFA World XI 2024, and his inclusion in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The contract extension comes just days after Vinicius returned to preseason training following his post-World Cup vacation and officially ends the transfer speculation surrounding the Brazilian star.
