Real Madrid has made 19-year-old winger Yan Diomande one of its top transfer priorities this summer. According to German newspaper Bild, the Spanish club has already opened negotiations with RB Leipzig and submitted an initial €100 million offer for the Ivory Coast international.

Leipzig rejected the proposal, believing the talented forward is worth considerably more. While the Bundesliga club reportedly values Diomande at around €130 million, negotiations are expected to continue, with a potential agreement likely to be reached closer to the €120 million mark.

Competition for the youngster is intense. Liverpool also had a €100 million bid turned down, while Paris Saint-Germain had been considered the frontrunner to secure his signature. However, Real Madrid's entry into the race has dramatically changed the situation, with reports suggesting Diomande has already put a preliminary five-year agreement with PSG on hold.

Another factor linking the player to the Spanish giants is his representation. Diomande is represented by Roc Nation Sports, the same agency that manages Vinícius Júnior and is currently negotiating the Brazilian star's contract extension with Real Madrid.

The young winger enjoyed a sensational first season with RB Leipzig, recording 15 goals and 11 assists after arriving from Leganés. He also impressed on the international stage during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, producing several standout performances for Ivory Coast and further increasing his market value.

Although Leipzig continues to insist publicly that it wants to keep the teenager and is even working on extending his contract beyond 2030, Real Madrid's interest and Diomande's apparent willingness to consider the move could make this one of the biggest transfer stories of the summer.
