Only THREE Players from FC Barcelona Haven't Gotten Injured this Season
After Frenkie de Jong and Pedro González, 'Pedri', got injured in San Mamés, Barcelona has racked up a total of 24 injuries this season, with only three players out of the 21 first-team members - Iñaki Peña, Ilkay Gündogan, and Fermín López - avoiding physical problems.
A short squad selection has been compounded by an injury plague, depriving Barcelona's coach, Xavi Hernández, of maintaining a consistent starting eleven.
Here's the list of Barcelona players who have suffered injuries this season:
Ronald Araujo (1 injury)
The Uruguayan was the first casualty of the season, sidelined for just over a month due to a hamstring injury.
Íñigo Martínez (2 injuries)

Pedro González 'Pedri' (3 injuries)
A rectus femoris muscle injury in his right thigh caused him to miss the first two and a half months of competition. Before the Christmas break, he suffered an unspecified "small muscle injury". Since his return in the Spanish Super Cup, he has played a total of thirteen games, nine of them as a starter. This Sunday, in San Mamés, he left the field due to a rectus femoris muscle injury in his right thigh.
Marc-André ter Stegen (1 injury)
A lumbar spine issue detected in late November required surgery, keeping him out for almost three months.
Frenkie de Jong (2 injuries)
On September 23rd, he suffered a distal tibiofibular syndesmosis injury in his right ankle against Celta, sidelining him for almost two months. This Sunday, he left the field in San Mamés with a sprain in the same area.
Raphael Dias Belloli, 'Raphinha' (2 injuries)
The Brazilian has already suffered two muscle injuries this season in the hamstring. At the start of the season, he injured the muscle in his right thigh, and in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal against Osasuna, he injured the left.

The Spanish full-back has only played seven games this season. On December 10th, the club announced he was suffering from lumbar pain and underwent surgery on January 3rd. He has not yet trained with his teammates.

Oriol Romeu (1 injury)
The Catalan midfielder missed the match against Granada on February 11th due to discomfort confirmed by Xavi Hernández in a press conference, although the club did not issue any statements regarding it.
Andreas Christensen (1 injury)
The case of the Danish player is similar to Oriol Romeu's. The club did not publish any medical reports regarding the discomfort that prevented him from being included in the squad for the Betis-Barcelona match on January 21st.
