Ferran Torres: From "Little Fish" at Barcelona to "Shark" with Spain
One of Barcelona’s most questioned signings is, without a doubt, Ferran Torres, due to the cost/performance ratio he has shown with the Catalan club. However, with the Spanish national team, the Valencian experiences a completely different reality.
The difference in numbers between the two versions of Ferran is significant, as the Spaniard has scored 21 goals in 48 matches for "La Roja," with an average of 0.4375 goals per game. Meanwhile, at Barcelona, he has scored 26 goals in 117 matches, with an average of 0.22 goals per game.
Ferran’s role with both Spain and Barcelona is quite similar, becoming a player who contributes from the bench, a trend that has continued since the rise of Lamine Yamal and Williams with the Spanish national team.
Although he has not yet managed to establish himself as a starter, the Valencian stands out for his attitude: “You have to be ready to make the most of the minutes you’re given,” the player stated, showing his ability to accept his role, even though his goal remains to get more minutes as a starter.
