Millions at Stake in France vs. Spain at the FIFA World Cup 2026
France and Spain will battle for a place in the World Cup final — and a multimillion-dollar payday — when they meet at Dallas Stadium.
A spot in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final isn't the only thing at stake when France and Spain meet in the semifinals. Along with pride and a place in history, millions of dollars will also be on the line.
The two European giants will battle for a lucrative payday at Dallas Stadium in Texas.
The same financial incentives apply to the tournament's other semifinal between England and Argentina at Atlanta Stadium.
PRIZE MONEY
The winner of each semifinal will pocket an additional $6 million after the final whistle.
Both teams have already secured $27 million by reaching the tournament's final four, making a trip to the championship match significantly more valuable.
Even the losing side will have a chance to increase its earnings. A victory in Saturday's third-place playoff would raise its total prize money by $2 million, bringing the team's payout to $29 million.
The team that goes on to lift the World Cup trophy on Sunday will earn an additional $23 million, claiming the tournament's biggest prize both on the field and financially.
The champions will take home $50 million, while the runners-up will receive $33 million.
