Racing Dominates Huachipato Away in the Copa Sudamericana
Racing achieved a dominant 2-0 victory over Huachipato in the Round of 16 of the CONMEBOL Copa Sudamericana, with goals from Adrián Martínez and Juan Fernando Quintero.
The Argentinians visited the CAP Stadium and outplayed the Chilean side, who had more possession (51%) but failed to produce a single shot on goal against Gabriel Arias.
Racing, from Avellaneda, took control offensively with a deadly combination. Johan Carbonero delivered a cross that Adrián Martínez tapped in from close range in the 32nd minute. Later, in the 88th minute, Colombian Juan Fernando Quintero sealed the match with a penalty, making it 2-0.
With this result, Huachipato will need to overturn the aggregate score in Argentina, while Racing will look to protect their two-goal advantage at home to advance to the next round of the Sudamericana.
