Bragantino hosted Racing Club in a head-to-head battle for the top spot in Group H of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana. The Brazilian team came out on top with a 2-1 victory, thanks to a brace from Thiago Borbas. Santiago Solari scored the lone goal for the Argentine side.

With this result, Bragantino moves into second place in Group H with nine points, level with Racing Club, who remains the leader on goal difference.
