End of the Soap Opera? Agreement for the Sale of Vitor Roque to Palmeiras
In Spain, it is reported that the signing of Vitor Roque by Palmeiras will be made official this Thursday
It seems that the soap opera surrounding Vitor Roque could come to an end in the next few hours, with the expectation that he will become the new player for Palmeiras this Thursday, just before the transfer window closes in Brazil. Betis is said to have relented, and Barcelona has reportedly finalized the agreement for 25 million euros, excluding variables, for 80% of the transfer.

Details of Vitor Roque's arrival at Palmeiras
The main obstacle that prevented the deal from closing weeks ago was Betis, who were unwilling to let Vitor Roque leave without receiving compensation in return. This was especially true since, despite the arrival of ‘Cucho’ Hernández, Bakambu and Vitor Roque were the only forwards registered for the UEFA Conference League.
However, an agreement has been reached with Barcelona to allow Vitor Roque's departure. The player involved in the operation would be Ez Abde, who joined Betis last season for 7.5 million euros for 50% of his rights. Now, Barcelona has reportedly ‘gifted’ Betis an additional 30% of the Moroccan player's rights.
The great squad of Palmeiras with Vitor Roque
For now, Vitor Roque's arrival at Palmeiras will be on loan since, to be transferred, he first needed to be reintegrated into Barcelona. This process wasn’t legal if they wanted to transfer him in this window. However, Palmeiras is obligated to execute the purchase for 25 million euros, and they will also cover the player's salary during the loan.
In this way, Palmeiras has found in Vitor Roque the forward they have sorely missed since Endrick's departure to Real Madrid in the summer of 2024. Along with other stars like the young ‘Messinho’ (who will join Chelsea in the summer), Paulinho, Felipe Anderson, and Richard Ríos, Palmeiras will complete a strong squad in their bid to reclaim the Brasileirão and the Copa Libertadores.
