Al-Ahly defeated ES Tunis (1-0) to secure their twelfth CAF Champions League title, extending their dominance in the continental competition by more than double.

The home team took the lead thanks to an own goal by Roger Aholou, marking the first goal of the final after a goalless draw (0-0) in Tunisia.

With this edition concluded, the champion team earned a total prize of four million dollars, while the runner-up will receive two million.

Al-Ahly's twelve titles surpass their closest pursuers, Zamalek and TP Mazembe, by seven, both of whom have five titles. ES Tunis follows with four titles.
