According to Argentine outlets Diario El Día de La Plata and Diario Olé, Messi is expected to travel on a private flight and arrive in Rosario on Saturday night.
Once in his hometown, Messi will reunite with his mother, Celia Cuccittini, his siblings Rodrigo, Matías and María Sol, as well as other relatives and loved ones.

According to reports in Argentina, Jorge Messi's body is expected to be taken to Parque del Solar cemetery, located in the Villa Gobernador Gálvez area.
A private ceremony is expected to be held there for Lionel Messi's father and longtime representative.
Jorge Messi died Saturday at the age of 68 in Rosario, the city where he was born and where he accompanied the first steps of his son's soccer journey before they traveled together to Barcelona in 2000.

The Argentine Football Association (AFA) expressed its condolences to the Messi family following the news of Jorge's death.
