Radamel Falcao's second half headed finish in Wednesday's friendly match against Spain was not enough to earn Colombia a famous away win against Juan Lopetegui's side, however, it did bring the 31-year-old's tally with the national team to 26 goals, thus making him Los Cafetero's all-time leading goalscorer.
The Monaco talisman had previously shared the title with Arnoldo Iguarán, who now sits second in the list of Colombia's most prolific international goalscorers of all time, with 25. Of the current batch of Colombian players, James Rodriguez is close behind El Tigre with 19 goals, while Teófilo Gutiérrez has 15 to his name.
The header past Pep Reina in Murcia marked Falcao's 14th goal in friendly games, while the 12 he has notched up in competitive games have come during CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers and the Copa América.
