Reports claimed that the Germany international had been offered to the Istanbul club on loan and that negotiations were close to reaching an agreement.

The Turkish club decided to directly address the rumors and denied that any agreement exists to sign the 23-year-old player.

“The reports claiming that our club has reached an agreement with Jamal Musiala and FC Bayern Munich are false. This is being shared for the information of the public,” Galatasaray said in a statement sent to several media outlets in the country.

Musiala is preparing to begin a new season with Bayern Munich and, for now, there are no indications that the player wants to leave the club or that the German side’s board is considering his departure.

The midfielder underwent surgery after Germany’s elimination against Paraguay at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. During the procedure, a metal plate was removed from his left foot.

Although Bayern strengthened its squad with the signing of Moroccan midfielder Ismael Saibari, his arrival will increase internal competition and does not represent a sign that Musiala is set to leave the German champions.
