The Treble —winning league, domestic cup and Champions League in the same season— remains alive for a handful of clubs, but giants like FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are no longer in that race.
Both Spanish powerhouses were eliminated from the Copa del Rey, ending their chances of achieving the most prestigious club accomplishment.
Barcelona and Real Madrid focus on LaLiga and Champions
Barcelona under Hansi Flick and Real Madrid led by Álvaro Arbeloa must now focus on LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona, already winners of the Spanish Super Cup, currently lead LaLiga with a four-point advantage over Real Madrid. In the Champions League Round of 16 they face Newcastle United, while Madrid will meet Manchester City.
Atlético de Madrid remains alive in all three competitions, although their large gap behind Barcelona in the league makes the domestic title difficult.

Manchester City and Arsenal keep the Treble dream alive
With Liverpool and Chelsea eliminated from the League Cup, Manchester City and Arsenal continue their battle across the remaining competitions.
Arsenal lead the Premier League and will face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League Round of 16.
Manchester City, managed by Pep Guardiola, must overcome Real Madrid, a club that historically thrives in European knockout rounds.
Bayern Munich eye dominance in Germany and Europe
Bayern Munich appears to have the Bundesliga under control, holding an 11-point advantage over Borussia Dortmund.
Still, they must defeat Bayer Leverkusen in the Pokal semifinals and face Atalanta in the Champions League Round of 16.
Galatasaray, Sporting and Bodø/Glimt chase historic Treble
Among the surprises, Galatasaray stands out. The Turkish club leads its domestic league, remains alive in the national cup and will face Liverpool in the Champions League.
Sporting CP is also enjoying a remarkable season, competing for the Primeira Liga title while advancing to the Champions League knockout stage.
Meanwhile, Bodø/Glimt continues its fairytale campaign after surprising results against Manchester City, Atlético de Madrid and Inter Milan in Europe.
