(VIDEO) Watch Out Argentina! FIFA Remembers James Rodríguez’s Wonder Goal
On the eve of the 2024 Copa América final between Colombia and Argentina, FIFA has revisited James Rodríguez's stunning goal from the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Just as he is excelling in the current tournament, James had a standout performance under coach José Pékerman, leading his team to the quarter-finals and winning the Golden Boot with this masterpiece against Uruguay.
FIFA shared the Colombian’s goal on social media, highlighting that he “loves the international stage,” which he continues to prove in the Copa América with six assists and a goal.
It’s worth noting that James's five matches in Brazil 2014 were enough to earn him a transfer to Real Madrid shortly after, making him the first Colombian to wear the iconic number 10 for the club.
Now, he stands on the brink of securing a title with the Colombian national team, but first, they must face Argentina.
