Inter Miami, led by Leo Messi, arrived in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on Thursday, where they will face Al Hilal and Al Nassr, led by Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, as part of their preseason tour before the start of the MLS.
Inter Miami departed from Florida on Wednesday night aboard a flight bound for Riyadh, where the team under Argentine coach Gerardo 'Tata' Martino will play against Al Hilal on January 29 and Al Nassr on February 1.
Upon their arrival at the airport, Inter Miami players were greeted with branches of white and pink flowers, the team's colors.
Inter Miami planned the first international tour in their history this year. They began with a 0-0 draw in El Salvador and lost 0-1 against FC Dallas.
After the matches with Al Hilal and Al Nassr, Inter Miami will travel to Hong Kong to face a local selection, and then they will play against Kobe in Tokyo. The preseason will conclude with a friendly match at home against Newell's Old Boys.
Inter Miami will debut in the MLS on February 21 against Real Salt Lake, after failing to qualify for the playoffs in the last season.
