Alves, initially sentenced to four years and six months in prison for raping a young woman in the bathrooms of the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona on December 30, 2022, left Brians 2 penitentiary center, where he had been incarcerated for the last 14 months, since January 20, 2023.
The athlete walked out of prison accompanied by his lawyer, Inés Guardiola, to a car parked a few meters from the exit.
Once the payment and the surrender of the footballer's passports imposed by the court as a precautionary measure were verified, the Court notified Alves' release.
