The return of James Rodríguez
The Colombian James Rodríguez, who was dealing with a strain in his left leg that prevented him from finishing Tuesday's training session with his teammates, trained normally this Wednesday and is available for the upcoming league match against Alavés in Vallecas.
James completed the training session led by Iñigo Pérez and showed signs of having overcome the physical issues that kept him from starting the week at the same pace as his teammates.
This way, the Colombian playmaker will be able to participate in the next league match against Alavés, where Rayo hopes to bounce back from the defeat suffered last matchday against Mallorca, in which James played 26 minutes.
James played that match with only one training session alongside his Rayo teammates after returning from international duty with the Colombian national team, where he played 176 minutes in the two matches against Chile and Bolivia.
