Manchester City Send a Message to Real Madrid
After a convincing victory over Crystal Palace, Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, sent a message to Real Madrid just days before their Champions League encounter.
Despite initially falling behind in the match, the Cityzens turned the game around with a spectacular performance by Kevin De Bruyne, who scored two goals in the 13th and 70th minutes, and provided an assist to Erling Haaland in the 66th minute. Rico Lewis also found the net in this 4-2 victory.
This result provided City with the confidence boost they needed as they prepare to visit the Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday, April 9th, to face the Madrid side in the Champions League for the third consecutive year.
In 2022, it was Real Madrid who advanced, while last year, the Manchester side emerged victorious with an overwhelming 5-1 aggregate score.
