Luis Díaz Dedicates the Title To his Parents
Colombian Luis Díaz, who won the English League Cup with Liverpool this Sunday, dedicated the title to his parents.
Diaz's father was kidnapped for several weeks in Colombia until he was released and moved to England, where he hasn't missed a single one of his son's games with Liverpool.
"It's been a very tough match, but these matches are played this way," said Díaz on Sky Sports.
"We've had a season with many games, we knew this was going to be a very big challenge, but we prepared very well."
"I dedicate this title to my mother and father, for everything they've been through. It means a lot to be able to celebrate it with them," added the Colombian.
