Flamengo Reportedly Targeting Chivas Star Roberto Alvarado
Roberto Alvarado, a standout player for Chivas del Guadalajara, has caught the attention of Brazilian club Flamengo due to his impressive performances with the Mexican team.
According to TUDN, Flamengo has made two offers for Alvarado, both of which have been rejected by Chivas. However, the player, who has a year and a half left on his contract, views Flamengo as a potential stepping stone to European football, given the Brazilian club's participation in the Copa Libertadores.
Alvarado's future is still under consideration, with both financial and sporting aspects being weighed.
"El Piojo" Alvarado joined Chivas in 2022 after a swap deal with Uriel Antuna, who moved to Cruz Azul. Since then, Alvarado has proven to be a key player, scoring 17 goals in 98 appearances and helping Chivas reach the Clausura 2023 Liga MX final. His current contract with Chivas runs for another year and a half.
