Emre Can, midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, expressed his disappointment with the outcome of the Champions League final, saying, "Unfortunately, it's Real Madrid," to explain their loss to the Spanish giants.

"We started the match very well but missed many opportunities. We hit the post, had bad luck, but… it's Real Madrid, unfortunately," he added.

"It's a shame, it hurts a lot, because we wanted to win the match. We played a great first half and had many chances, but you have to take your opportunities in a final. Unfortunately, we didn't, and that's why we didn't win the game," concluded the German midfielder of Turkish descent.
