Barcelona Extend Contract of Young Talent
Barcelona and Héctor Fort signed a contract renewal agreement on Tuesday, extending the young defender's stay with the club until June 30, 2026.
The signing ceremony was attended by the player, the club president Joan Laporta, first vice-president Rafael Yuste, sporting director Anderson Luis de Souza 'Deco', and the board member responsible for youth football, Joan Soler.
Fort, a 17-year-old Catalan talent, joined Barcelona's youth academy a decade ago and made his debut with the first team this season. He has featured in ten matches, playing as both a left-back and right-back across different competitions: seven in La Liga, two in the Copa del Rey, and one in the Champions League.
