Araujo and Pedri Meet Flick!
Ronald Araujo and Pedri met their new Barcelona coach, Hansi Flick, at the Joan Gamper Sports City, where they visited to monitor their respective injuries.
Pedri will be out for four to six weeks due to a sprain in the medial collateral ligament of his right knee, sustained during the Euro 2024 Quarterfinals against Germany.
Araujo, meanwhile, is set to undergo surgery shortly for a torn hamstring tendon in his right thigh. This injury occurred in the Copa América Quarterfinals against Brazil and will keep him sidelined for about four months.
After a day off, the available players have returned to training at the Sant Joan Despí facilities. During the session, left-back Alejandro Balde, who is also recovering from a similar injury to Araujo's, participated partially with the group.
