A Renewed PSG Draw in Austria: Neves, Mbaye, and Safonov Make Their Debuts
PSG and Sturm played to an exciting 2-2 draw in the Parisian club's first preseason match, highlighted by Ibrahim Mbaye’s impressive goal assisted by Marco Asensio.
The match began as expected, with PSG dominating and consistently attacking the opponent's goal. It wasn’t until the 9th minute when Marco Asensio found Ibrahim Mbaye, who, with a superb left-footed strike, scored his first goal with PSG at just 16 years old. Later, in the 12th minute, Carlos Soler scored PSG’s second goal, and the match seemed headed for a blowout.
However, Sturm quickly responded with a stunning goal from Amady Camara in the 15th minute, and to cap a frenetic first half, Otar Kiteishvili equalized just before the break.
In the second half, standout Safonov, one of PSG’s new signings, made an excellent save in goal. Meanwhile, Neves saw his first minutes in the Parisian jersey, marking a very promising start for the Portuguese player who excites everyone.
