In the conclusion of Matchday two in Group B of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations 2023, Egypt and Ghana delivered an exciting encounter between two of the most successful nations in AFCON history, featuring star players like Salah and Iñaki Williams. The Pharaohs aimed to solidify their top spot in the group, while Ghana's stars sought to bounce back from the surprise against Cape Verde.

The first half was evenly contested, with chances for both teams. However, in injury time, everything changed for Egypt with Mohamed Salah's injury and substitution, followed by Kudus' goal giving Ghana the lead at halftime.

Without Salah on the field, Egypt sought to turn the tide and succeeded in the 70th minute, leveling the game. But no one anticipated the crazy turn of events that followed the 1-1 draw.

One minute after the equalizer, Ghana regained the lead with a brace from West Ham's forward, Kudus. Two minutes later, Egypt leveled again, thanks to Mostafa. After the hydration break, both teams calmed the game down to finish with a 2-2 scoreline.

With the draw, Egypt remains in second place with two points in Group B, while Ghana sits at the bottom with just one point. Both teams await tomorrow's match between Cape Verde (group leader) and Mozambique.
