Paris Saint-Germain, coached by Luis Enrique, sits at the top of Ligue 1, but the French champions hold only a four-point lead with nine matches remaining in the season.
Ligue 1 is entering the final third of the campaign, and the title race appears to be focused on two main contenders: PSG and RC Lens, managed by Pierre Sage, while the resurgence of Lyon, led by Endrick, still leaves them eight points behind second place.
PSG and a near total dominance in Ligue 1
Paris Saint-Germain remains the dominant force in French football, having won eight of the last ten Ligue 1 titles, including the last four consecutively.
The reigning French champions have already secured the French Super Cup and still have the opportunity to win the Champions League again. Domestically, however, they maintain a four-point advantage over Lens, who continue to threaten their dominance.

Lens, a solid challenger dreaming of an upset
RC Lens, champions of Ligue 1 in 1998, have been consistent throughout the season. Wesley Saïd, with ten goals, has been one of the team’s key figures, along with Adrien Thomasson, one of the top assist providers in French football.
Lens had four consecutive victories before suffering a painful defeat against Monaco and a draw against Strasbourg.
Which opponents remain for Lens and PSG?
With nine rounds remaining in Ligue 1, one of the key fixtures will see Lens host PSG on April 12.
Lens will also face Olympique Lyon on the final matchday of the season.
Meanwhile, Luis Enrique’s PSG still has to face Monaco, Lens, and Olympique Lyon before the campaign concludes.
