Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade closed out the artistic gymnastics program at the Paris Games with a gold medal on the floor exercise, surpassing American Simone Biles, who stepped out of bounds twice during her routine.
Andrade secured her fourth medal at the Bercy Arena, her first gold, with a score of 14.166, thanks to a brilliant routine executed with confidence through each of her challenging elements.
Biles scored 14.133, narrowly missing out on gold, while the bronze went to fellow American Jordan Chiles with a score of 13.766.
Just minutes earlier, Biles had missed the podium on the balance beam, an event where Andrade finished in fourth place.
Biles concluded the competition with three gold medals and one silver, while Andrade earned one gold, two silvers, and one bronze.
