Concerns are growing around Fernando Alonso and his physical condition during the current Formula 1 season. Spanish journalist Emilio Pérez de Rozas recently warned that the veteran driver may be dealing with increasing discomfort caused by issues with the car of the Aston Martin F1 Team. Speaking on the program La Tribu on Radio MARCA, Pérez de Rozas explained that Alonso is facing a challenging moment in what is already his 23rd season in Formula 1. At 44 years old, the Spanish driver continues to compete at the highest level, but the physical toll of more than two decades in the sport is becoming more noticeable.

Alarm Over Fernando Alonso as Aston Martin Vibrations Worsen Injuries
Strong vibrations from the Aston Martin car could be worsening Fernando Alonso’s neck and wrist problems, raising concerns about the Spanish driver’s physical condition during the Formula 1 season.
One of the main concerns is the performance of Aston Martin’s car. The team entered the season with high expectations after the arrival of legendary designer Adrian Newey. However, the project has not delivered the expected results so far.
According to Pérez de Rozas, the car suffers from reliability issues and struggles to complete long runs, sometimes failing to exceed 15 consecutive laps. This limitation makes it difficult for engineers to properly analyze and fix the technical problems affecting the car.
Another key factor is the intense vibration generated by the extremely compact design of the car, combined with the engine developed by Honda. These vibrations are believed to be directly impacting Alonso, particularly worsening pain in his neck and left wrist.

Over the course of his career, Alonso has driven more than 115,000 kilometers in Formula 1 — a distance close to three full laps around the Earth. Such an enormous workload inevitably leaves its mark. Given this situation, Pérez de Rozas suggested that if the problems persist, the team could even consider recommending that Alonso take a break during the season to protect his health.
