Pompet Pongsuphan PK walked into the main event knowing that Nat Khat Min was unlike any opponent he had faced before – and the former Lethwei star made sure that was felt from the opening bell. A massive superman punch early in the opening stanza rocked Pompet and made the crowd take notice. Nat Khat Min wanted chaos, and for stretches, he got it.

But Pompet never broke. He stayed disciplined, picked his shots, threw leg kicks, and connected with overhand rights every time the Myanmar striker came charging in. In the second, a perfectly timed left hook to the liver dropped Nat Khat Min face-first near the ropes. Somehow, some way, he hauled himself up to survive the round.

Whatever heart that took ran out in the third. Pompet dragged him into the clinch, ground him down with knees and elbows, and dropped him twice more – a left hand-cross combination and a knee to the body sealing the finish at 2:34. Mongkoldetlek Por Pim-on does not need to hurt you to beat you. He just needs to exhaust you, and that is exactly what he did to Utkirzhon Khamidov over two rounds of controlled, suffocating violence.

Khamidov arrived with genuine stopping power, landing hooks and a spinning back kick that made the crowd wince. And for brief moments in the first round, the Kyrgyzstan debutant looked like he belonged. But every time he pushed forward, Mongkoldetlek had a teep waiting. One of them landed flush on the liver and put Khamidov on the floor.

The Kyrgyz brawler survived the round. But he didn’t last for long.

Mongkoldetlek spotted his rival’s habit. Khamidov kept ducking low when under pressure, so the Thai turned it into a trap. He pulled him into the clinch, wrapped the plum, and drove knees into his midsection until his legs gave out. While Khamidov beat the count and stepped forward again, it happened all over again.
