Andre Silva to AC Milan: DONE DEAL
It has been confirmed, the latest transaction in the Rossoneri's summer shopping spree comes in the form of $43 million bargain buy Andres Silva. The Portuguese wunderkind joins the Serie A giants after excelling at Porto.
The 21-year-old becomes Milan's fourth coup of the transfer window, following the arrivals of Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez and Franck Kessie.
Of course all this new talent coming in is bound to ruffle the feathers of some of the more established members of the Milanese locker room...
Carlos Bacca to PSG: RUMOR
The ink hadn't set on the 'Silva signs for Milan' headline by the time Carlos Bacca's agent Sergio Barila was doing the rounds linking the Colombian target man elsewhere.
With a World Cup around the corner, the former Sevilla forward is unlikely to give into the temptation of a big money move to the Chinese Super League, so another European club seems like the logical next step for the 30-year-old.
Rather unquietly Barila told FootMercato that, "[Carlos] has been asked for by several big European clubs and we will study everything quietly."
Joe Hart to West Ham: Rumor
Strange one this, but word from the English capital has it that Manchester City black sheep Joe Hart is on the Hammers' radar.
West Ham United is hardly an obvious move given the already stiff competition at the club, where Darren Randolph and Adrian have been battling it out for the No. 1 spot.
Nonetheless, Pep Guardiola has made no secret of his desire to offload the English shot-stopper by the end of the summer, and with Hart looking to minimize his inevitable pay cut as much as possible, coupled with his failed mission to win over hearts and minds at Torino last season, expect to see him on the books of another Premier League outfit come the start of the 2017-18 season.
Capello to Jiangsu Suning: DONE DEAL
Fabio Capello, remember him? Well, after bleeding the Russian football federation dry for three years, the bespectacled Italian has resurfaced... in China.
The LaLiga, Serie A and Champions League winning coach has returned to football with Jiangsu Suning, who finished second in the Chinese Super League in 2016 but are struggling in the relegation zone this time around.
Will the cantankerous 70-year-old turn the team's fortunes around? No one knows.
One thing that is for certain though, his reported $153,000 a week salary will definitely help him add to his own.
Banega to Tigres: RUMOR
Liga MX's could be the next port of call for Argentina international Ever Banega.
Following a frustrating first season at Inter Milan, the petite playmaker could be on his way out of the Italian club, with Tigres expressing an interest in his services.
According to the Mexican side's director, Miguel Angel Garza, the Nerazzurri man is “part of a number of options we are evaluating.”
