Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Brett Romberg is a sharp personality on the microphone, co-hosting the highest rated morning sports talk radio show in South Florida Zaslow, Roms & Amber on Sports Talk 790 AM The Ticket.
Romberg attended the University of Miami, where he played football for the Hurricanes from 1999 to 2002. With Romberg at center, the Hurricanes won 35 of 37 games, one BCS NationalChampionship (2001), three Big East Conference championships (2000, 2001, 2002), a Sugar Bowl (2001) and a Rose Bowl (2002). The 2001 Miami Hurricanes team is widely considered one of the greatest college football teams of all time. Romberg was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame in March, 2013 for football.
As a senior in 2002, he was distinguished as the best center in the nation and awarded the Dave Rimington Trophy. After his time as a Miami Hurricane, Romberg played eight seasons in the NFL, joining the Jacksonville Jaguars, St. Louis Rams, and the Atlanta Falcons.
