How Much Bad Bunny’s Human Trees Were Paid for the Super Bowl Show
Once the hours passed after Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show, details began to emerge about the stage design, which at least on television looked perfectly tailored for the performance.
What appeared to be a flawless forest-themed set was later revealed to be real people dressed as “trees”, who had even spent days preparing for Game Day.
Now, what everyone on social media is talking about is how much these “human trees” were paid for one of the strangest jobs in Super Bowl history.
According to Darren Rovell of CLLCT Media, the performers dressed as trees earned $18.70 per hour, working a total of 70 hours, including eight days of rehearsals and the day of the game, which totaled $1,309.

The Puerto Rican artist used the halftime stage to highlight his roots, centering the performance on Puerto Rican pride, cultural identity, and unity across the Americas.
The 14-minute show featured star appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, while Pedro Pascal, Cardi B, Karol G, and Jessica Alba made brief cameos. Much of the action took place around his iconic “casita,” inspired by a traditional Puerto Rican home.
At 31 years old, Bad Bunny also made history at the Super Bowl, becoming the first artist to perform an entire halftime show entirely in Spanish, adding to his record as the most-streamed artist in the world on Spotify in 2025.
