Vardy at the double as Cremonese stuns Bologna
Jamie Vardy netted his first Serie A brace to lift Cremonese to a 3-1 upset of high-flying Bologna this morning.
The win breaks a three-game losing run for Cremonese and moves it above Atalanta and Torino into 11th on the congested Serie A ladder.
For its part, Bologna missed the chance to leap-frog Como and Roma into fourth, the sixth-placed Rossoblu suffering their first loss in 12 games across all competitions.
