Rabiot teed up Alphadjo Cisse eight minutes after replacing Ardon Jashari, before finding the back of the net himself to hand the Rossoneri all three points. 

Milan started brightly as Cisse struck the side-netting before Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Pervis Estupinan both had efforts blocked in quick succession from close range.

Samuel Chukwueze then brought the first save out of Diego Mascardi after half-an-hour, but that was the closest either team came to opening the scoring in a low-key first half. 

Amorim turned to his bench just before the hour and introduced experienced midfield duo Luka Modric and Rabiot, and it was the latter who helped put Milan ahead in the 64th minute as his cross was collected by Cisse, who curled beyond Mascardi. 

Just two minutes later, Rabiot got himself on the scoresheet. After gathering the ball on the right-hand side, Chukwueze's inviting cross to the back post was tucked into the roof of the net by the Frenchman on the volley. 

Torino did, however, respond well to going two goals down as Alieu Njie rattled the left post before Pietro Comuzzo's first-time attempt sailed over the crossbar. 

The host did pull one back in second-half stoppage time when Che Adams brilliantly hooked Gvidas Gineitis' free-kick beyond Mike Maignan, but Milan was able to hold on.
