Jonathan David not planning to leave Juventus
Jonathan David is hoping to stay at Juventus, despite a difficult first season in Italy.
David joined Juve on a free transfer last year, after five impressive seasons at Lille.
The striker netted 109 goals in 232 appearances for Lille, drawing attention from some of Europe's elite clubs.
However, he has impressed for Canada at the World Cup, netting a hat-trick in its 6-0 thumping of Qatar.
There has been speculation Juve could aim to cash in on the 26 year-old, but he has no plans to leave the Bianconeri.
"I have a five-year contract, so as far as I am concerned, I will be staying there," he said.
David referenced Canada's style of play when it comes to helping him thrive.
"I think when you play for your club or national team, it is going to be different, because these are two very different teams," he said.
"Canada have a different playing style, so more or less everything changes."
