Amorim unfazed by AC Milan pressure
Ruben Amorim insisted he was not feeling the pressure during his AC Milan tenure, but he acknowledged it was "impossible to have a lot of time" at a football club.
Amorim has had a mixed start to life in charge of Milan. It is unbeaten in its first six Serie A matches, though it has drawn three of it last four league outings.
The Rossoneri began their Europa League campaign with a 2-0 defeat at home to Benfica, with their next European clash seeing them make the trip to Salzburg on Friday.
Milan has won nine of its 13 major European games against Austrian sides, with this its first since a 4-0 win against Salzburg in the Champions League in November 2022.
Amorim, however, has lost each of his last two Europa League matches, as many as in his previous 21 games combined in the competition.
There is already growing pressure on the former Manchester United boss, but ahead of taking on Salzburg, Amorim remained focused on matters on the pitch.
"I don't read papers or watch TV, so that I can focus on my work," Amorim said. "We are at the start of something. Obviously, we want to win more games and have more points. In regard to the rest, it's normal at a big club.
