Christie pens extension at Bournemouth
Ryan Christie has signed a three-year contract extension to keep him at Bournemouth through to June 2029.
The Scotland international joined the Cherries in August 2021, helping them gain promotion to the Premier League in his first season.
Since then, he has played his part as Bournemouth has gone from strength to strength, culminating in clinching European football for the first time in the club's history at the end of the 2025-2026 season, when finished sixth in the top-flight to earn a UEFA Europa League spot.
Christie has made 177 appearances for Bournemouth in all competitions, including 124 in the Premier League, netting 10 goals and registering 17 assists in total.
He made 26 appearances in the 2025-2026 Premier League, netting two goals.
"It feels brilliant. I'm absolutely delighted, to be fair," he said.
"Especially after the way the season finished – it's been such an incredible year for the club with qualifying for Europe. I'm really looking forward to next season already.
"With the [2026 FIFA] World Cup coming up as well, it felt like the perfect time to get this sorted before heading away for that, and now I can fully focus on next season. Honestly, I already want it to start."
