Pulisic backed as Salah replacement
Liverpool have the tough task of replacing Mohamed Salah this summer, but Robbie Fowler thinks Christian Pulisic could be the right choice.
After nine seasons with Liverpool, Salah leaves the Reds as a free agent this summer having scored 257 goals and provided 120 assists in 442 appearances.
The winger won two Premier League titles and the Champions League during his time on Merseyside, among other silverware, leaving Liverpool with the difficult task of finding a replacement.
Pulisic has previous Premier League experience after representing Chelsea for four seasons, scoring 20 goals and registering nine assists in 98 English top-flight games.
The American winger also won the Champions League with the Blues in 2021 before leaving for AC Milan in 2023.
"Plenty of rumours about as to who鈥檚 going to Liverpool," Fowler said. "One name I鈥檝e not seen mentioned is Pulisic.
"Good age, played in the prem, exciting player, I鈥檇 take him, potentially a Salah type of pathway, thoughts?"
Pulisic has made 134 appearances for Milan, directly contributing to 66 goals across all competitions.
