Wrexham lets another lead slip in draw with Derby
Wrexham was denied its first home win in the EFL Championship after it played out a 1-1 draw with Derby County at The Racecourse Ground.
Two second-half goals ensured the spoils were shared, as a deft header from Lewis O'Brien put Phil Parkinson's side in front in the 59th minute.
However, in the 79th minute, Ben Brereton Diaz stunned Wrexham with a spectacular long-range effort, planting the ball into Arthur Okonkwo's top-left corner.
Derby moved out of the relegation zone into 20th place, two points behind Wrexham in 15th spot.
Wrexham has now dropped seven points after taking the lead in Championship matches this season.
The only team with a worse record is Derby, which has let eight leads slip away.
