Arsenal's busy summer continues with signing of RB Leipzig's Baum
Lisa Baum has expressed her desire to win trophies at Arsenal after putting pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Gunners.
Lisa Baum has become Arsenal's fifth summer signing after the Women's Super League side announced her arrival from RB Leipzig on Tuesday.
Baum follows Ona Batlle, Georgia Stanway, Selina Cerci and Geraldine Reuteler through the doors at Emirates Stadium, and has reportedly signed a three-year deal.
She joins Arsenal fresh from scoring six goals in 25 Frauen-Bundesliga appearances in 2025-26, the joint-most for Leipzig along with Marleen Schimmer and Delice Boboy.
The 19-year-old began her career at Hamburg, helping the club earn two promotions in the space of three years, scoring 21 times in 68 appearances.
Baum joined Leipzig last year despite interest from Bayern Munich, and her performances ensured her new team survived relegation from the top flight, as they finished 10th.
However, she is now relishing the chance to play in the WSL, and Baum highlighted her ambition to win silverware with Arsenal during her time in North London.
"I'm so happy to join Arsenal and I can't wait to get started," Baum told the club's website.
"This league is so competitive and Arsenal is a big club, so I'm excited to challenge myself and compete with the best.
"I want to win trophies and develop my game, and Arsenal feels like the perfect match to achieve that."
Baum joins an Arsenal side that finished second in the WSL last season, four points behind Manchester City, along with reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Renee Slegers' side already have significant firepower in their ranks, scoring the second most goals in the WSL last season (53), but they have lost Beth Mead to City.
"Lisa is a young wide forward who will bring direct intent and athleticism to our attacking group," Slegers said.
"At 19, she is still developing, and we believe she has huge potential, which we will support her to achieve.
"We welcome her to Arsenal and look forward to the road ahead together."
