Lopetegui Warns Sevilla Against UCL Complacency
The Sevilla coach warned there are no easy games in the Champions League ahead of Tuesday's game against Krasnodar.
Sevilla head coach Julen Lopetegui is wary of Tuesday's Champions League opponents Krasnodar despite the Russia side being joint bottom of Group E and facing possible elimination from the competition.
A win for the Spanish side coupled with a Chelsea win in Rennes would see Krasnodar exit Europe's premier club tournament.
Nonetheless, Lopetegui says he expects a difficult game after the LaLiga side had to overturn a two-goal deficit in the reverse fixture on matchday 3.
"The conclusions from the first game are that they put us against the ropes," said the former Spain coach, "and they have recovered many players that weren't available for that game so they will be harder than in the reverse game.
"We're talking about the Champions League so every game is like a final, every game is decider, every game is very difficult and this is the mentality in front of us."
