Injured Busquets a Doubt for Champions League Quarter-Final
Barcelona may be without Sergio Busquets for their Champions League quarter-final first leg after he was injured against Chelsea.
Sergio Busquets is a doubt for Barcelona's Champions League quarter-final first leg after being ruled out for approximately three weeks with a fractured toe.
The Spain international is picked up the injury during the second half of Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Chelsea to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
After being replaced by Andre Gomes in the 61st minute, Busquets underwent test to assess the damage, with Barcelona later confirmed he had "suffered a fractured phalanx of the fifth toe of his right foot."
The Catalan giants estimate the veteran midfielder will required "approximately 3 weeks" to recover from the injury, putting him in a race for fitness ahead of the Champions League quarter-finals, which take place on April 3 and 4, while it will also rule him out Spain's internationals against Germany and Argentina this month.
