Vandeweghe Makes Winning Start At Libema Open
American Coco Vandeweghe made a winning start at a happy hunting ground at the Libema Open.
The Rosmalen Grass Court Championships, have been kind to top seed Coco Vandeweghe, and she continued her love affair by starting her quest for a third title in 's-Hertogenbosch Libema Open with a 6-2 7-6 (7-1) success against Aliaksandra Sasnovich.
Vandeweghe, a winner in 2014 and 2016, now holds a 13-2 main-draw record at the tournament.
Sixth seed Alison Van Uytvanck made light work of home hope Richel Hogenkamp in a 6-1 6-2 triumph, but there were wins for the Dutch spectators to cheer courtesy of Bibiane Schoofs and Arantxa Rus.
